Easy Lemon Tahini Salad Dressing
I rarely buy salad dressing from the grocery store. It’s expensive, has a ton of ingredients I don’t understand, and never tastes as good as homemade. Plus, it’s really easy to make your own dressing. This lemon tahini salad dressing only requires 5 ingredients and one of them is water. You can make it in less than five minutes and use it throughout the week.
Obviously, this dressing tastes great on salad, but it can also be used in other ways. Drizzle some on top of roasted vegetables or falafel. It also tastes great drizzled on top of grilled chicken or a buddha bowl.
Easy Lemon Tahini Salad Dressing
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
1 lemon, juice and zest
1/4 cup tahini
2-3 tablespoons cold water
salt & pepper
Instructions
In a small bowl, add the lemon zest and juice the lemon. Add the tahini, 2 tablespoons of water, and some salt & pepper. Whisk well until combined. Add more cold water by the tablespoon as needed to achieve a thinner consistency. I usually use 3 tablespoons.
Use immediately or cover and keep in the refrigerator for up to a week. If it thickens just add a little more water.
Notes:
Different flavors: sometimes I add a little maple syrup to this to give it some sweetness. You can also add some different spices, such as garlic powder or paprika, depending on what you’re serving it with.
