My Story
My love for nutrition stems from my love for food. I have always loved cooking and baking for my own enjoyment as well as for the purpose of sharing that food with others. This love of food led me learning about nutrition. I would read all different kinds of nutrition books in high school and quickly realized that what I thought was just a hobby could be my career.
I live with my husband, daughter, and two rescue pups in the Fishtown area of Philadelphia. When Iām not in the kitchen cooking or baking you can usually find me on walks around Fishtown with my daughter or trying a new restaurant in the area.
Work Experience
I have experience working in many different nutrition settings, including:
Community nutrition: food pantries, community centers, and schools
Facility for adults and children with special needs
Seven years of experience in acute care hospitals
Outpatient weight management and bariatric surgery setting
